100 Days of Abstracts (2019)

Below are selections from my “100 Days of Abstracts” series. I undertook this series starting in April 2019 as a part of #The100DayProject daily creativity challenge. I wanted to push myself to become more flexible and more comfortable with abstract painting — and to log some “brush miles” while I was at it! Although no consistent style emerged as part of this project (and I wasn’t always able to stick with my “abstract” theme), I learned a great deal over the course of those few months.

  1. WoW! I LOVE this stuff!!

Having just helped with the install of the Elsa Thoresen and Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen exhibit, I see so much more in your work now. These seem to evoke a flavor of “biomorphism” that I find quite fascinating.
